the living and to pass judgement on the unbelievers.
Do they not see how among the things Our hands have made We
have created for them the cattle of which they are masters? We have
subjected these to them, that theymay ride on some and eat the flesh of
others; and they draw other benefits and (diverse) drinks from them.
Will they not give thanks?
They have set up other gods besides Allah, hoping that they may
be helped. They cannot help them: they shall be brought like a host
(for punishment).
Let their words not grieve you. We have knowledge of what they
hide and all what they reveal.
Is man not aware thatWe created him froma little life-germ?
Yet he is an open opponent. He makes comparisons for us, and
forgets his own creation. He asks: 'Whowill give life to rotten bones?
Say: 'He will give them life again Who created them at first: He
has knowledge of every (kind of) creation; He who gives you from the
green tree a fire withwhich you light your fuel.'
Has He who created the heavens and the earth no power to create
their like? That He surely has. He is the All-Knowing Creator. When
He decrees a thingHe need only say: 'Be', and it is.
Glory be to Himwho has control of all things, and to Him you will
all be brought back.
