Do they expect to be treated except like the ancients? No change
will you find inAllah's way; nor will it be altered.
Have they not journeyed through the land and seen the fate of
those whowent before them, nations far mightier than they?
There is nothing in heaven or earth beyond the power of Allah.
All-Knowing is He andMighty.
If it was Allah's will to punish men for their misdeeds, not one
creature would be Left alive on the earth's surface. But He respites
them till an appointed time. And when their hour comes, they shall
know thatAllah has beenwatching over all His servants.

a sin. I swear by theWise Quran that you are one of those sent
upon a straight path.
This is a revelation of theMighty One, the Merciful, so that
you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and,
therefore, they are heedless. The sentence has justly been pronounced
against most of them, because they do not believe.
We have bound their (hands to their) necks with chains of iron
reaching to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads. We have
set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them and covered them
over, so that they cannot see.
