Say: 'Our Lord will bring us all together, then He will rightly judge
between us. He is theAll—Knowing Judge.'
Say:'Show me those whom you joined with Him as partners. Nay
(youwill not).Allah alone isWise andMighty.'
We have sent you forth to all mankind, so that you may give them
good news and warn them. But most men have no knowledge. They
ask: 'Whenwill this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true? '
Say: 'Your day is already appointed. Not for one hour can you hold
it back, nor can you hasten it.'
The unbelievers say: 'We will never believe in this Quran, nor in
the Scriptures which came before it.'
If only you could see the wrongdoers when they are brought
before their Lord! They will blame one another. Those who were
despised will say to those who were proud: 'But for you, we would
have been believers.'
Then those who were proud will say to those who were despised:
'Was it we who debarred you fromAllah's guidance when it was given
you? No.You yourselves were wrongdoers.'
'By no means,' those who were despised will say to those who
were proud. 'It was (your) scheming night and day, when you
commanded us to disbelieve inAllah and set up equals toHim.'
And they will regret in secret when they see the punishment. And
chains shall be placed round the necks of the unbelievers. They will
not be requited except for what they did.
Never did we send a warner to a town but the wealthy in it said:
