But Allah abrogates the interjections of Satan and confirms His own
revelations. And Allah is Wise, All-knowing. (This He permits) so
that He may make Satan's interjections a temptation for those whose
hearts are diseased or hardened-and the wrongdoers are in wide
schism; and so that those to whom knowledge has been given may
realize that this (Quran) is the truth from your Lord and thus believe in
it and that their hearts may be open to it. VerilyAllah will sorely guide
the faithful to a straight path.
The unbelievers will never cease to doubt it until the Hour of Doom
overtakes them unawares or the scourge of the Woeful Day descends
upon them. On that dayAllah will reign supreme. He will judge them
all. Those that have embraced the true faith and done good works shall
enter the Gardens of Delight, but unbelievers who have denied Our
revelations shall receive an ignominious punishment.
As for those that have emigrated from their home for the cause of
Allah and afterwards died or were slain. Allah will make a generous
provision for them. He is the most munificent Giver. He will receive
themwell:All-knowing isAllah and Forbearing.
Thus shall it be. He that repays an injury in kind and then is wronged
again shall be helped byAllah.Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
That is so.Allah causes the night to pass into the day, and the day into
the night. He it isWho hears all and observes all.
Allah is Truth, and Falsehood is all that they invoke besides Him. He
is theMost High, the Supreme One.
