20:104
burden for them on the Day of Resurrection, the day when the
Trumpet shall be sounded.
On that day, We shall assemble all the sinners. Their eyes will
become dim (with terror), and they shall murmur among themselves:
'You have stayed away but ten (days).'
We know full well what they will say. The most upright among
themwill declare: 'You have stayed away but one day.'
They ask you about the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will crush them
to fine dust and leave them a desolate waste, with no hollows nor
juttingmounds to be seen therein.'
On that day, men will have no choice but to follow their truthful
summoner, their voices hushed before the Lord of Mercy; and you
shall hear no sound except the faint sound (of marching feet). On that
day none shall have power to intercede for them except him that has
received the sanction of theMerciful and whose word is acceptable to
Him. He knows what is before them and behind them, but they
themselves have no knowledge of it,
(All) faces shall be humbled before the Living One, the Eternal.
Those who are burdened with sin shall come to grief: but those who
have believed and done good works shall fear neither inequity nor
injustice.
Thus We sent it down, an Arabic Quran, and explained in it
warnings and threats so that they may guard themselves against evil
and so that it may be a reminder for them. Exalted beAllah, the King,
the Truth.
