85:1
y the heaven with its constellations! By the Promised Day! By
the witness and the witnessed!
Cursed be the people of the trench-the (trench with) fire fed
with fuel; those who sat around it watching the believers whom they
were torturing. And they had nothing against them save that they
believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praiseworthy, Sovereign of the
heavens and earth.AndAllah is theWitness of all things.
Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never
repented shall suffer the scourge of Hell and the torture of burning.
Those who believe and do good works, theirs will be gardens
wherein rivers flow. That is the greatest triumph.
Surely the vengeance of your Lord is severe. It is He who creates
and restores (His creation).And He is Forgiving and Loving. His is the
Glorious Throne.AndHe does what He wishes.
Have you not heard the story of the warriors of Pharaoh and of
Thamoud?Yet the unbelievers deny it.
Allah surrounds them all. Indeed this is a glorious Quran, in a
guarded tablet.
