On that day there shall be fresh faces, looking towards their Lord.
And on that day there shall be mournful faces, knowing that a great
calamitywill be inflicted on them.
But when (man's soul) reaches the throat and it is said: 'Is there a
magician to save him? ' ; and when he knows it is the final parting and
the pangs of death assail him-on that day to your Lord he shall be
driven.
(In this life) he neither believed nor prayed; he denied the truth and
turned away; and he went to his kinsfolk elatedwith pride.
Well have you deserved (this doom); well have you deserved it.Well
have you deserved it: toowell have you deserved it!
Does man think that he will be left aimless? Was he not a drop of
ejected semen? Then he became a clot of blood; thenAllah created and
moulded him and made of him the pair of male and female. Is He then
not able to raise the dead to life?
