ll that is in heaven and earth glorifiesAllah, the Sovereign
Lord, the HolyOne, theAlmighty, theAll-knowing.
It is He who has sent forth among the unlettered an apostle of
their own to recite to them His revelations, to purify them, and to
instruct them in the Scriptures and wisdom, though they have hitherto
been in gross error, together with others of their own kin who have not
yet joined them. He is theMighty, theWise One.
Such is the grace ofAllah: He bestows it onwhomHe will. His grace
is infinite.
Those to whom the burden of the Torah was entrusted and yet
refused to bear it are like a donkey laden with books. Wretched is the
example of those who deny Allah's revelations. Allah does not guide
the wrongdoers.
Say: 'O you who are Jews, if you claim that of all men you alone are
Allah's friends, then invoke death if you are truthful! ' But, because of
what their hands have done, they will never wish for death. Allah
knows the wrongdoers.
Say: 'The death fromwhich you shrink is sure to overtake you. Then
