Will they not ponder on the Quran? Are there locks upon their
hearts?
Those who turn back after Allah's guidance has been revealed to
them, it is Satan who seduces and inspires them. That is because they
say to those who abhor the word of Allah: 'We shall obey you in some
matters.'Allah knows their secret talk.
How (will it be) when the angels carry away their souls and strike
themon their heads and backs?
That is because they follow what has incurred the wrath of Allah
and abhor what pleases Him. He will surely bring their works to
nothing.
Or do those who have disease in their hearts think that Allah will
not bring forth their malice? If We pleased, We could point them out to
you and you would recognize them promptly by their marks. But you
will surely know them from the tenor of their words. Allah has
knowledge of all your actions.
We shall put you to the proof until We know those who strive and
the resolute among you and test all that is said about you.
Those who disbelieve and debar others from the path of Allah and
oppose the Apostle after guidance has been shown to them shall in no
way harmAllah. He will bring their works to nothing.
Believers, obeyAllah and His apostle and never let your labours go
in vain.
Those who disbelieve and debar others fromAllah's path and in the
end die unbelievers shall not be shown forgiveness byAllah. Therefore
do not falter or sue for peace when you have gained the upper hand.
Allah is on your side and will not grudge you the reward of your
