The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the
MightyOne, theWise One.
It was in truth thatWe created the heavens and the earth and all
that lies between them; (We created them to last) for an appointed term.
Yet the unbelievers give no heed toOur warning.
Say: 'Do you see those whom you invoke besides Allah? Show me
what part of the earth they have created! Have they a share in the
heavens? Bring me a scripture revealed before this or some other
vestige of knowledge, if what you say be true.'
Who is in greater error than he who invokes besides Allah those
who will never hear him till the Day of Resurrection—who are, indeed,
unconscious of his prayers? When mankind are gathered (upon the
Judgement—day), those (whom they invoke) will become their
enemies andwill disown their worship.
When Our clear revelations are recited to them, the unbelievers say
of the truth: 'This is plainmagic.'
Do they say: 'He has invented it himself? '

Say: 'If I have indeed invented it , then there is nothing that you can
do to protect me from (the wrath) ofAllah. He well knows what you say
