have no friend and no helper.
Or have they set up other guardians besides Him? Surely Allah
alone is the Guardian. He brings back the dead to life and has power
over all things.
In whatsoever you differ, the decision thereof is with Allah. Such
is Allah, my Lord. In Him I have put my trust, and to Him I turn in
repentance.
Creator of the heavens and the earth, He has given you wives from
among yourselves and cattle, male and female. By this means he
multiplies you. Nothing can be compared with Him. He alone hears all
and sees all.
His are the keys of the heavens and the earth. He gives abundantly
to whom He will and sparingly to whom He pleases. He has
knowledge of all things.
He has ordained for you the faith which He enjoined on Nuh and
which We have revealed to you, and which We enjoined on Ibrahim,
Musa and Isa, (saying): 'Observe this Faith and be not divided therein.'
Hard for the polytheists is that towhich you call them.Allah chooses to
Himself whomHe will, and guides toHimself those that repent.
Yet they became divided only after knowledge had reached them,
out of envy among themselves. And had it not been for a word that had
already gone forth from your Lord, reprieving them till an appointed
term they would surely have been punished (in this life). Those who
inherited the Book after themhave their grave doubts too.
Therefore call (men to the true faith), and follow the straight path
as you are bidden. Do not follow their desires, but say: 'I believe in all
the scriptures that Allah has revealed. I am commanded to exercise
