Sura 27
“Al-Naml"
THE ANT
In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
a sin. These are the verses of the Quran, the Book which
T
indicates (right and wrong); a guidance and joyful news to true
believers, who attend to their prayers and pay the alms-tax and
firmly believe in the life to come.
As for those who deny the life to come,We make their foul deeds seem
fair to them, so that they blunder about in their folly. Such are those who
will be sternly punished and in the Hereafter havemuch to lose.
You have received the Quran from Him who is Wise and All-
knowing. (Tell of) Musa, who said to his people: 'Surely I see fire. I
27:1
when you stand upright and (sees) your movements among those who
prostrate themselves. He hears all and knows all.
Shall I tell you on whom the devils descend? They descend on every
lying sinner. They pour what they hear, but most of themare liars.
Poets are followed by erring men. Behold how aimlessly they rove
in every valley, preaching what they never practice. Not so are the true
believers who do good works and remember Allah and defend
themselves only after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will
see what a come-back they shall have.
