some affliction befall them or some woeful scourge be visited upon
them.
To Allah belongs what the heavens and the earth contain. He has
knowledge of what you are about. On the day when they return to
Him, He will declare to them all that they have done. He has
knowledge of all things.
24:64
25:1
lessed be He who has revealed Al-Furqan (the Criterion) to

His servant, that he may be a warner to all mankind; the Lord
of the heavens and the earth, who has begotten no children
and has no partner in His sovereignty; who has created all things and
ordained them in due proportion.
Yet (the unbelievers) serve, besides him, other gods which can
create nothing and were themselves created: (gods) which can neither
help nor harm themselves, andwhich have no power over life or death,
or the raising of the dead.
The unbelievers say: 'This is but a forgery of his own invention, in
which other have helped him'. Unjust is what they say and false.
And they say: 'Fables of the ancients he has written: they are dictated
