AndHe will ask. 'Howmany years did you live on earth?'
They will reply: 'A day or possibly less. Ask those who have kept
count.'
He will say: 'Brief indeed was your sojourn, if you but knew it! Did
you think thatWe had created you in vain and that you would never be
recalled toUs? '
Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god but Him. the
Lord of the Glorious Throne. ?
He that invokes another god besides Allah-a god of whose divinity
he has to proof-his reckoning will be only with his Lord. The
unbelievers shall never prosper.
Say: 'Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of those that
showmercy.'

LIGHT
In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
his is a sura (chapter) whichWe have revealed and sanctioned,

The adulterer and the adulteress shall each be given a hundred
lashes. Let no pity for themdetain you fromobedience toAllah, if you
truly believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let their punishment be
