The day (will come) when He will gather them again, as though they
had stayed (in this world) but an hour of the day. They will recognize
one another. Lost are those that disbelieve in meeting their Lord and do
not follow the right path.
Whether We let you witness some of that with which We threaten
them, or cause you to die (before it falls upon them), to Us they shall
return.Allah is watching over what they do.
To every nation is (sent) an apostle.When their apostle comes, justice
is done among them; they are not wronged.
They ask: 'When will this promise be (fulfilled), if what you say be
true?
'
Say: 'I have not the power to benefit or to harm myself except what
Allah pleases. Unto every nation is a fixed term.When their termexpires
they cannot delay it for an hour, nor can they bring it before (its time). '
Say: 'Should His scourge fall upon you by night or by day, what of it
would the guilty hasten?And when it overtakes you, do you believe in
it then? Now you believe whereas formerly you wanted it to be
hastened.'
Then it shall be said to the wrongdoers: 'Taste the everlasting
torment! Shall you be rewarded except according to your deeds?
'
They ask if it is true. Say: 'It is, bymy Lord!You shall not escape.'
Verily if each soul that has done injustice had all that is in the earth, it
would offer it for ransom. And they will feel regret when they see the
punishment. But judgement shall be fairly passed upon them; they
