Resurrection. Whenever they kindle the fire of war, Allah puts it out.
They spread evil in the land, andAllah does not love the evil-doers.
If the People of the Book accept the true faith and keep from evil, We
will pardon them their sins and admit them to the gardens of delight. If
they observe the Torah and the Gospel and what is revealed to them
from Allah, they shall be eating abundance from above and from
beneath their feet.
Some of them are righteous men; but many of them do nothing but
evil.
Apostle, proclaim what is revealed to you from your Lord; if you do
not, you will not have conveyed His message. Allah will protect you
fromall men. He does not guide the unbelievers.
Say: 'People of the Book, you stand for nothing until you observe the
Torah and the Gospel and that which is revealed to you from your
Lord.'
That which is revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase the
wickedness and unbelief of many of them. But do not grieve for the
unbelievers.
Believers, Jews, Sabaeans, and Christians-whoever believes inAllah
and the Last Day and does what is right-shall have nothing to fear or to
regret.
We made a covenant with the Children of Israel and sent forth
apostles to them. But whenever an apostle came to them with a
message that did not suit their fancies they accused some of lying and
killed some. They thought no harm (would come to them): they turned
